Intelligent Design - Naming

An example of intelligent design is where Adam named the animals in Genesis 2:19.

"And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every owl of he air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them; and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof."

A name of an object reflects its characteristics and the ability to name something reflects an ability to taken dominion over it.

Does your house cat give you a name?  Do plants name animals? Do people name people? Do light bulbs name electricity? What does God name in Psalm 147:4 or Isaiah 40:26?  Do you see any parallels with naming and the grammar stage of the Trivium? Do you see a line of authority and dominion?

I think that When God gave dominion over the animals and earth to humans in genesis that from that point on he entrusted us to take care of his creation, he didnt give that responsibility to household pets, or trees, but to human beings, and in such we need to use our intelligence and take care of all this wealth appropriatly

Here is an interesting issue with Gen 1:26,28 in Christiandom. Did God only give man dominion over animals and the earth (science and math) as many claim and therefore, Christians should not seek to be over other people as part of the dominion mandate (politics)? Seems like easy to reply to since God has created many hierarchies, but somehow, the domion mandate is offensive to many on this point. What have you heard?

Well, God did give us dominion over the creatures and plants of the earth, but also to care for it. This can be taken too far though, if we allow the nature to dominate over us, having our lifes revolve around the fact that we need to care for it, and make sure that everyone uses clean electricity. There is nothing wrong with clean electricity, unless we idolize it.
